Goals. Goals. Goals. I am absolutely obsessed with this proposal! I'm also obsessed with Jordan and Beau because they are SO perfect together! This proposal was all about girl power and a girl knowing exactly what she wants. . . Want to know why? Keep reading! I promise it's worth it!
Ever since moving to Savannah, over 4 years ago, I was wanted to do some sort of photo shoot with the Savannah Theatre. Not only is it stunning, but it's one of America's oldest continually-operating theatres! Right here in Savannah, Georgia!
Jordan, this pretty lady, reached out to me on Facebook explaining that she was proposing to her boyfriend during their trip to Savannah. She mentioned having the Savannah Theatre's marquee and before I even read the rest of the message, I was already clearing my schedule. Jordan and I decided to do couple portraits prior to the proposal so the marquee would be lit up by the time we wandered over towards Chippewa Square. Beau thought Jordan just wanted couple portraits while they were in the beautiful city of Savannah. . . He had NO CLUE that he would be getting a ring at the end. We started on Historic Jones Street and slowly walked towards the theatre.
Jordan was ready to break society's expectations for proposals. She explained it perfectly. . . When you know, you know. Just because you're a woman, doesn't mean you can't propose. Her Instagram caption won my heart, "I hope to see other women take control of huge decisions in their lives, because man was that liberating! If you know what you want, why wait?"
Jordan, you are so inspiring. I truly look up to you and I'm sure women reading this blog do too!
If you couldn't tell. . . Beau said YES! These two were truly meant to be. I cannot wait to see the rest of their love story continue!
