There's just something about a man in a suit. . .
When formal wear comes to mind I usually think of ball gowns, wedding dresses, prom dress and pretty much all things that my pretty ladies wear. . . Not suits and ties. Bummer, because who doesn't like a man all dressed up every once in a while? Growing up with three older brothers, they HATED dressing up. It was torture for them. They would rather be in athletic shorts and a t-shirt. I mean. . . I like to be comfy too, so I don't blame them.
Going to school for my fashion minor I met SO MANY photographers that were terrified of shooting men. Maybe because they found them intimidating or thought they wouldn't be interested in modeling. . . I don't know! For me, I loved photographing men. They don't have to worry about their make-up, fixing their hair is way easier and they LOVE to post the finished images on Instagram after the shoot - hehe!
Daniel is usually wearing a bathing suit, kitesurfing on Tybee Island or wearing a long sleeve t-shirt riding his motorcycle around Savannah - don't think he dresses like this all the time. He posted a photo on his Instagram and I instantly saw this shoot come to life. We made the plan and headed over to Savannah Law School, now Savannah College of Art & Design, and brought this professional, formal fashion shoot to life. We had so much fun and his images were a big hit on his Instagram with the ladies! ;)
